Cotton .

You see cotton a lot with different types of clothing. Some shirts, jeans and many more types of clothing are made from it. It is a natural substance consisting of the epidermis of the seeds of the cotton plant. The advantages of cotton are that it absorbs a lot of moisture, it wears fine and white cotton can be washed at 95 degrees. The disadvantage is that it wrinkles quickly and therefore often has to be ironed before you put it on. Also, depending on the type of paint, the color fades quickly.

Polyester.

 Polyester is used to make blouses, dresses and shirts. Polyester is a polymer and is spun into filament by melt spinning. Usually the fabric is mixed, but 100% polyester also occurs. The disadvantage of 100% polyester is that you sweat quickly because it does not absorb moisture. The advantage of polyester is that it does not crease easily. It is also very strong and stable. 

Wool.

 Wool is made from the soft and thin hairs of certain animals, usually sheep. It is mainly used for clothes and blankets. The clothes, mainly winter clothes, that are made of wool are often sweaters, cardigans and scarves. It is better not to wash wool too often and if you do wash it, do it by hand in lukewarm water with wool detergent and then rinse it several times with lukewarm water. Wool should never be soaked or spun and you should never wring it out, but you can squeeze it gently. Wool should not be allowed to change temperature too quickly, then it will shrink. The trick is to slowly warm up and let it cool down slowly. The advantage of wool is that it is warm and soft to wear. It has good moisture absorption.

Nylon.

 Nylon is the name for a group of synthetic polymers that belong to the polyamide group. It was developed as a synthetic replacement for silk, because in the Second World War there was a shortage of silk for parachutes, among other things. Stockings and tights are made of nylon. Coats and lingerie are also sometimes made of nylon. Nylon is strong and does not wrinkle. It can feel sweaty, because it does not absorb moisture. Linen Linen is made from the flax plant. In the summer it is worn a lot, in the form of blouses or certain pants. It is very similar to cotton, but it has more shine and a coarser texture. Unfortunately, it creases quite quickly. 

Acrylic 

Acrylic is a synthetic fiber, also known as acrylic fiber or polyacrylic. It is a wool substitute and is widely used in sweaters, scarves and socks. Just like wool, it is nice and warm to wear. The advantage, unlike wool, is that it can be washed in the washing machine with a program at 40 degrees. The only drawback is that it pills quickly.
