Yoga pose for two people

 Yoga            pose       for       two        people

Most people who practice a morning yoga routine or take classes usually do it on their own; But for couples, exercising and mindfulness together can add depth and closeness to your relationship.

There are some classes specifically designed with yoga poses for two, but you can also try a yoga routine at home that includes easy and safe yoga poses for two. Use these recommendations and yoga poses as a couple, for a unique and romantic workout.

1 Acro Yoga

Yoga for two is not just a romantic workout, but a serious branch of yoga that has been around for almost 20 years. Acro yoga combines traditional yoga movements with acrobatics. In acro yoga, you will do many difficult two-person yoga poses that require more strength and can lead to injury. While this practice is primarily based on two-person yoga poses, there is usually a third person involved as an observer to prevent falls. Taking an acro yoga class is a great way to start learning yoga poses for couples or trying difficult yoga poses for two.

2. Open Heart Posture, Forward Bend and Child's Posture

Nothing is more appropriate for partner yoga poses than heart opening positions. From your seated positions, step back and spread your legs. Individually, move into fish pose by arching your back off the ground and resting on the crown of your head. To move on to some easy yoga poses for two, have one lie on their back with their knees bent, pressing down on the back of the person doing the fish pose. The person on top will almost be in a kick but without such a strong arc. The person on the bottom can modify this pose during their home yoga routine by moving forward or with the child's pose. Join hands in any of these variations for a more emotional connection.

3. Seated Meditation Postures

To start a morning yoga routine with your partner, sit back to back in meditation or lotus flower. Begin by timing your breathing and setting an intention for your practice. From here, they can move on to easy two-person yoga poses by turning to look over their shoulders in opposite directions or reflecting with a side tilt. Even if you are doing a simple morning yoga routine, with no more partner poses, starting your practice this way will create a very strong connection.

4. Boat and Chair Resistance Poses

Add some resistance to your home yoga routine through the boat and chair pose. Sit facing each other in a bounce position and align the soles of your feet. From here, take each other's hands and lean back, allowing the resistance to act as a counterweight. Similarly, they can add strength and balance to the chair pose by holding hands as they face each other and sitting deeper and deeper into the pose. Trying these positions during yoga for two allows you to push more in these positions.

5. Duplicate Poses

Some difficult two-person yoga poses involve greater balance between them, and because this can lead to injury, they should limit the poses they attempt on their own without a teacher or instructor. Some of the two-person yoga poses that you can try at home on your own include a double dog and a double plank. For the double down dog, a person starts out as a downward facing dog. The partner places his hands around one foot in front of the other and then lifts his feet onto his partner's lower back, moving toward his own downward facing dog. For the double plank, one partner gets into a plank position, and then the other does as well with his hands on his partner's ankles and his feet on his partner's shoulders. These two-person yoga poses will challenge your balance but keep you close enough to the floor to avoid serious injury.

Before trying any of these positions, make sure you are in good physical health and familiar with the individual poses. While practicing yoga for two, communication is key. If any pose is uncomfortable for you or your partner, stop immediately and try a simpler pose. As you continue to practice together, consider taking an acro yoga class to move into increasingly complex positions, and over time you will see how exercising together brings you closer together, physically and emotionally.
